... 15th. I awoke that morning with my left leg swollen to twice it size and turning dark blue so I of course went directly to the hospital. After no more than a casual look at my leg I was rushed into the operating room for a procedure to remove massive blood clots from my leg. The clots extended from my ankle to my abdomen. I was fortunate in that the surgeon on call was a vascular specialist so I was in good hands. I spent 2 nights ...

We would start our trip on January 3rd from NYC, the harbor to be more precise as we would take the Queen Mary to cross over to Southampton, England (the cruise takes a week) and would be spending about a week with very good friends of ours who are now living in London. ... to have done... Well, upon taking a good look at it, Dr. Barnes took one staple out and literally squeeze (I know it is gross!!! I didn't look as I knew I would have passed out...) as much as he could out of the incision. It is not an infection but some build up from the lymph nods and the name of it, I couldn't tell you because it is way too complicated to remember.
