Before the starting gun

10'x15'... the past 5 years, 2 bedrooms and 4 floors of our home is now crammed into a one cinder-block cell, the mail has been stopped (doubt I'll miss it) and tenants who will be kindly paying our mortgage for the next 12months are now moved in and we're officially "homeless".
Bethany Beach is where we'll be calling home for the next few weeks, until we jump out on the road at the end of July.

I could think of worse places to lay-low for awhile.

... I miss a lot when we are either in Argentina or Maryland after living in Florida for 17 years.
We will not be back in the US until somewhere around the 3rd week of May as we will be spending a few days in England again upon our return from Asia to get over the jet lag. We will then be off to France to attend my brother's wedding on May 3rd followed by a couple of weeks at our house in the South. We have not been there in about 3 years ...

... 15th. I awoke that morning with my left leg swollen to twice it size and turning dark blue so I of course went directly to the hospital. After no more than a casual look at my leg I was rushed into the operating room for a procedure to remove massive blood clots from my leg. The clots extended from my ankle to my abdomen. I was fortunate in that the surgeon on call was a vascular specialist so I was in good hands. I spent 2 nights ...

Hello everyone!!!! I have some very good news... Paul is stapleless!!! Finally, after over 3 weeks after surgery, Dr. Barnes removed the 12 staples out of Paul's incision! Paul was soooooo happy and he is feeling renewed! The doctor took him off his antibiotics and told us that should any funky happen, it should be within the next days... We are not anticipating any bump any more. What a relief! We are both so thrilled to be able to resume some kind of normalcy, ...
