Arrived in Provo Utah today, just south of Salt Lake City. Have decided to stay here for Labor Day Weekend, should avoid a lot of traffic. Lots to do here, scenic drives, waterfalls, mountains, and our favorite, bike paths and golf. Already have a tee time for Sunday. Plus the RV Park is right next to Utah Lake & Utah Lake. State ...

Tuesday, June 4th - elephant sanctuary and giraffe center am, afternoon in the city.
Wednesday, June 5th - Masai Mara Safari day 1 - GO KENYA SAFARI
Thursday, June 6th - Safari day 2
Friday, June 7th - Safari day 3
Saturday, June 8th - Safari day 4 - return to airport 3pm for 6:25 pm
departure to Addis and then Cairo. Depart Cairo early am.
Sunday, June 9th - arrive back in Chicago 3pm. Panu goes to SLC, Leah goes to Boston.

... few miles of highway with no rest stops or towns. Finally, the town of Charleston emerged. I was glad to finally see a town after so many hours just being on the road. It was kind of reassuring. I knew Utah is full of wide open spaces and you could probably ride a day or two in some places without even seeing civilization. ... nearing the Promised Land. We still had about two hours to go once reaching Utah and we really wanted to make it to Provo before midnight. We already had a Couch Surfing host lined up in Provo, Sam and Spencer Hawkes, a married couple. They didn't mind we would be arriving so late, but we really didn't want to keep them waiting any longer than neccessary. Upon leaving Michigan on Tuesday around 5, we thought we'd get to Provo around 8 p.m. Wednesday. ...
