    The other week I venture off on a 'spare of the moment' shopping adventure. Well actually, the purpose was to got to the IRS but that proved unsuccessful, so hence in my head I will claim it as a shopping trip.

    I awoke to silence at 6:30, which is noteworthy at Oshkosh, because by that time, the air is normally filled with the sound of engines as pilots go out for a dawn flight.

    As I emerged from the tent, I saw that everything was wet and the sky filled with fog, except for in the Far East, as the sun slowly burned through. Over the course of the morning, the sky cleared and allowed us to dry out.

  • Etymotic MC3's kept tunes and directions streaming from my GPS unit. Not quite as comfortable as the ER-6i's but definitely did the job. I should have swapped the tips every couple of days to allow the foam to expand back out.
