... we didn’t flip our boat.

The take out is 6 miles down the road, at Alexander Park. You drag your equipment up into the park to drop it off and wait for the shuttle back to your vehicle. We decided to find a bar nearby to grab an early dinner and drinks. The bar that kept popping up in our searches (“coolest bar in my location” etc.) was called Cheerleaders. It had won the Best of Boise awards a few years in a row. When we got there ...

... Penh. From there we will travel south to the Cambodian islands and coastal region. We will then route back through Phnom Penh on our way to Siem Reap where we will visit the mighty Angkor Wat complex for several days. After some sight seeing we will continue to head west towards Bangkok and back into Thailand. Another overnight train/bus adventure, this time southbound, will find us on the Andaman Sea in Krabi. From there we will explore ...

... questions me. “Yes, it is OK. It’s not Heidi coffee, but it is OK.” She seems to be fine with that response.

We sit drinking coffee and doing the computer thing which has become our habit. We comment back and forth on something we see on Facebook or in our email. I click the TV on and tune into a court program. The banter on the television is quite funny when I catch an exchange or two, but I am not really watching the show; ...

Exactly How Long is Eight Hours?

... reach Helena around 1:00 p.m. and we have added an hour to our ETA in Boise. Heidi is in disbelief that we still have over 700 kms. to cover. By 2:15 we have gotten through the highway construction near Butte. We see a sign announcing a Rest Stop in one mile and the next 94 miles further. We decide that this would be a good place to pull off and have our “Dine on Swine” picnic. We gather our sandwiches, some chips and some Starbucks ...
