We spent another night and paddled an uninspiring lake in a Floridian state park, then set off this morning heading east looking for something cool to do. The tourist brochures are full of lovely looking springs but due to flooding last week and more storms due they are all closed to swimming and real murky. We could see the planet Venus in the top right hand of the windscreen as the smokey trail travelled in our field of vision from left to right and from top to bottom. it ...

... combo platter, each platter had 3 good sized, delicious items on it, and they were only $7.50 apiece! What a treat!
The temps have been dropping steadily since yesterday morning, and it never got above 48 degrees today, and it's going down to 34 tonight....brrrr! Hope it warms up before we get to our site near the beach in Destin on Monday!
