    Returning to Australia

A travel blog entry by stephenshortt on Jan 26, 2015

I am returning to Australia today because my 8 year old God-daughter has become very ill. Her liver failed a bit over a year ago and she had to have a liver transplant. All was going well but recently she has had rejection issues and other complications, so had returned to hospital. I've been told that things are very bad for ...

    Leaving my bike.

I pulled over at a little town 100 miles outside of El Paso and went to a gas station to figure out what to do, over a cup of hot chocolate. I knew one thing. i didnt want to go any further. I learned that i was on the edge of a massive ice storm and the weather would only get worse over the next couple days. I asked about hotels, and somewhere to store my bike and was ...

... we walked over to a little coffee shop called the Writer's Stop and got a cup of coffee & a carrot cake cookie. Which was f&@king awesome. It's basically a Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream-Pie except made with Carrot Cake & Cream Cheese Frosting...yeah...I know.

After that we watched Muppet Vision 3D which I liked because I am a Muppet fan but I don't think Jodie cared for it. Which I can't blame her for because the story was a little dis-jointed and ...
