In and around ‘The Queen’
... People were already lining the streets when we got there, they had come prepared though, with chairs and blankets. We found it was quite chilly in the shade, but we stuck it out and were rewarded with a great parade. Thanks to all who took part.

On Sunday we met up with Dave & Nikki Bremner who stay in Fort Baxter (about 30 miles from where we were). We joined them at the local YMCA for the Eternity Church service. The church is 5 years old and meets in the Y each week. Dave, summed up the worship quite succinctly when said the band/worship team sings well and loudly, and everyone else mimes along...

Saturday morning, Kerrin and Wayne headed for what we thought was the nearest grocery store. We had passed some on the way in the previous evening, so we back tracked to a store on The Carolina Commons called Harris Teater.
