... 3 blocks away. We were disappointed to find hotel after hotel after hotel on the beach with limited public access and many water and amusement parks. Many people had suggested that we visit Myrtle Beach, but we couldn't figure out what the attraction was. We found it all rather tacky but made the best of it and found a restaurant near the beach to have dinner and a cold drink.

... wind started around midnight.

Jeff was ready to murder the news crew as their camera lights were shining right into our room. He went down and threatened to cut their power if they didn't move it. They got the message coz soon after the light was pointing in the other direction where there were no rooms.

We went to bed soon after, but it wasn't a very relaxing sleep. ...

... than most how much of life people spend on facade as opposed to a true sense of satisfaction and happiness; monetarily as well as overall lifestyle choices.

Maybe it sounds selfish, but I do what I want. And you should too.

So, one week from today I'll be setting forth on my third trip to Indonesia for close to three months, possibly more. I'll be bringing plenty of photo and video equipment so this will also be well ...

... into a Cape Hatteras campground that advertised all the usual amenities. Unusually we paid in advance over the 'phone – lesson learned because when we were arrived, it was ‘work in progress’ and there was little other than a place to park! Next day, I rang to complain and was treated to a volley of wonderful abuse and told that I was a ‘cheapskate’ as it was cheaper than anywhere else – lovely!! The good experience there ...

... sour cream and biscuit sprinkling. It was very nice. Then it was an omelette with English muffin which was also very nice.

The entire stay at the Aerie had been excellent. The people that run it, the staff...all were just lovely and so nice.

I filled up my car with petrol for the first time, so I worked out I had to pre pay before filling up…this is how it is done here. But since I was new to driving this car which is a Nissan Versa, I wasn't sure how much to put ...
