... a large buttery pastry restored my mood considerably. I decided not to continue on to Fitzroy, my feet already sore. Instead I boarded the free tram to the stop closest to the QV Market and jumped off to pick something from the food hall for my dinner. An interesting mixed salad and a cherry borek. Also 3 punnets of strawberries for $3 (most of which I ate on the walk back). I found the Botoanic Gardens on my return and that was a much more peaceful route. I ...

... up with Mum and Greg in the Colony Club to check out the Bingo. Mum bought her pack and wasn't impressed cos it was $36 and she didn't I understand the rules, so she wasn't happy. By the time it finished, it was 4.15, so we went our separate ways until tea time. After tea, we went to the casino, stayed for 30 mins and left Mum to go to our cabin. The model was standing there - waiting - in a robe. HE was old, fat and bald. The seating plan meant you had to sit really close to him. I didn't like what I saw. I was wearing contact lenses so it wasn't like I could take off my glasses to turn him into something blurry and and more attractive. ...

... your t shirt to hitch a lift down the road! Conor is often walking round with ten or twenty flys just sitting on the back of his t-shirt!

The Yarra valley is the main wine region just outside of Melbourne. We went on a tour of some of the vineyards and it was a great day. First we went to Domain chandon, which is where they make Moët &Chandon champagne and wines. We got a sample of a glass of champagne and some cheese and crackers! The ...
