There are times to be offended, but most times are not meant to be taken personally, especially in another culture.     The tide was out when I arrived, so a steep climb down barnacled stone steps took me along the shoreline of fishing boats where people live, fish and trade from their vessels. It is very much a marine atmosphere here that takes you back to a slow and different time.
