One of our guys had shorts just above the knee and he was not allowed in. When we finally arrived at the entrance we had to take our shoes off and put them in plastic bags.           ... The Wizard of Oz'. This film was made when colour was new to movies an so they were experimenting and decided to make the witch green because they could! Apparently up until this point all witches had had human skin tones. However the witch museum said that the green skin stereotype originates from an exaggeration of the green fingers and hands of the 'witches' (medical women) from all their herb picking. A lot of out stereotypes on witches actually have very boring foundations ...
