    ... Pancakes - great when you are eating it but you feel rubbish straight afterwards) for lunch and Perkins (my preference so far) for dinner. It felt like everything was smothered in cheese, so you had to order quite carefully but we got some decent meals.

    There are million ways to experience the falls in Niagara - all costing roughly $20 so we did four:
    1) on the Skywheel - like a slightly smaller London Eye which provided a good view over the Falls ...

    ... a raccoon! We watched for a while, trying to take photos, it was very dark just there and we needed to have the flash on - quite difficult when you can't really see what you are trying to do! Then we spotted a skunk running by, then another, but they were so fast, in the dark, it was hard to line them up for a photo, we just seem to have got blackness!     ... the house. It is set in the rural part of Niagara big homes around here. We arrived very early only to be told by Pat's husband Orland the unit wasn't ready.

    Orland gave us directions to Niagara Falls to pass time till 3pm beautiful area they live in near the Welland River. With the rain and being tired Richard missed turns to parks near the river for us to have lunch couldn't turn around and of course there is roadworks on the bridge ...
