Day 2. Started off in 20% chance of afternoon showers at 730. Then if I would have gone another 20 miles I could have saved a bundle on the hotel, but I was tired and it was getting dark. ... had to be tactful to our faces but we were overwhelmed with the universal good will and positive feeling about America at virtually every stop.  I found this surprising as my current state of mind regarding USA is hardly positive (especially after realizing how much tax money we spend on feeding John Kerry and of course that he tried to ruin my shoes). The bad news is I hit both my balls into the water and Paul hit his first into the drink as well. The good news is that Paul put his second on the green.

The following day we drove the final leg to Englewood Florida where we will stay for a month or so. More about the Gulf Coast to come as we explore from Siesta Key in the north to Naples and Marco Island in the south.
