Sommerliche weihnachtszeit
... ein regenschauer aus dem nichts, es wurde kalt und alles war innerhalb kürzester Zeit nass, gestern war das auch schon so. Wenn du unterwegs bist hast du keine Chance, du wirst total durchnässt. Und 5 Minuten später sticht die Sonne wieder, dass du denkst du kriegst einen Sonnenstich. Ganz besonderes Wetter hier.
Ich bin schon neidisch auf euren Schnee, so für ein paar Tage Winter wär toll....aber ihr hasst mich wahrscheinlich dafür und hatte gerne mein Wetter :)

Really early in the next morning we drove from Rotorua to the Rainbow Mountain to make a small track for about 2 or 3 hours.
We had a amazing view over the whole area and we decided to have lunch on top of the mountain. There we met a nice guy from the Southern Island with his family and we talked for quite a while.
Because we wanted to go to the Hot Springs we decided to go back to our van.

... Loch quoll geräuschlos das 10 °C Wasser, das 70 Jahre gebraucht hatte um die Quelle zu erreichen.
In das Wasser hatten sich trotz der Kälte drei kleine Jungs gewagt, um die von Touristen in das Loch geworfenen Münzen zu bergen. Zu ihnen gesellte sich kurze Zeit später ein etwas größerer Junge, der wirklich weit mehr zitterte als seine Kameraden. :D
