Very clean, comfortable and spacious room (on the top floor), nice decor and relatively quiet location with friendly staff. Relatively central to some attractions (LACMA, Hollywood Blvd, Sunset Blvd, Beverly Hills etc).

Having developed a cough overnight (thanks to some people smoking outside my door during the evening and their smoke wafting in through the window), it was a little more difficult getting out of bed again! Still, after a bit of a sleep in, I managed to drag myself out and went for a walk towards Downtown. I did have …

So John, Johnny and I left home around 3.30 pm and the plan was to take the scenic route to LAX and double back along 3rd Avenue to Santa Monica and meet up with Pam. The Restaurant was dark but the food was great. The boys were excited about seeing Crimson.

Yes we saw slim Californians jogging and skating so all was in order with the world. We checked in to our palatial apartments and got stuck in to the new facilities. I can confirm the hot tub was hot and the pool ...

Such high hopes for today's adventure. It began with our shuttle (Dad in a valet hat) arriving at 4:30 am. Sniffle, sneeze, sniffle... Oh ****... Trapped for 5 hours between Sneezy (Mike) and Sleepy (skinny kid in seat 26F who slept the entire flight). The upside was inflight WiFi (thank ...
