We awakened to dense fog this morning that never seemed to burn off. Since we weren't leaving until 1100 because of adverse tide in the Cape Fear, we didn't pay much mind ---- except, when 1100 rolled around, the pea soup fog was still with us. Now we were headed dead downwind and that lessened the effect of the bone chilling wind.

... water, digging around in the sand and treating ourselves to some delightful refreshments! Lee, however, was not having the best day... He wasn't feeling so hot so he used this day for "rest."

Carolina Beach is not very big, so if was shocking to us that we ran into people we knew! A couple of Adam's friends drove by and stopped to play some corn hole. The next day we ran into a couple of people we knew from our gym in Virginia! ...
