... those darn Pelicans are hard to catch on film, they are amazing birds huge! Average size has a 10ft wing span there are several varieties we've mostly seen the black ones and white, the black dive for their fish it's really something to watch they free fall from the sky directly into the water and pop up with a fish...the white ones open up their big bills and scoop them up more delicate. :-)

Great day to boat we traveled along the ICW a quiet place ...

They were planting all kinds of herbs, some veggies and flowers so campers could use and enjoy while there. Now really, how many times do you find that? I want to go back just to cook with their herbs. They spend the summer there and go back to Delaware for the winters. Bit ...

... off quickly. The kitchen brought back memories for Peter of his merchant navy days, especially when he saw the potato peeling machine! Went to a nice restaurant for dinner, I had flounder Francais (not quite sole meunière but good) Peter had osso buco which he didn't seem to like too much then stopped at the little bar across from the hotel for a beer, seemed like it was a neat place - should have gone here ...
