... We were shocked. We went in and had sea view seats and ordered French Onion soup which had a layer of Gruyere cheese on top. Then we had an appetiser given to had of sorbet to clean our pallets apparently. Followed by steak. Which was really reasonable and probably the only time I might afford it. It was Huge!!! Half a cow on my plate and a jacket potato. So I ate the meat and left the jacket potato for lunch the next day! Perfect. So we continued our journey ...

... gesture. Other folks gave us advice, drove some of us to run errands and generally did anything they could to make our stay pleasant. They were good folks in Carrabelle, let me tell you, and we will miss them.

As always, a lot of time was spent thinking about food. We ate some delicious fried oysters at The Fisherman's Wife and enjoyed terrific sandwiches at The Junction, the only two restaurants in town. We heard they served a mean steak at the Marathon ...

... as soon as we boarded, so we dropped our carryons, and headed to Cagney's for lunch. Started with a Shrimp Cocktail, for Dad.

Our room was very spacious. and so was the balcony. There were 2 regular chairs, and a small cocktail type table, as well as 2 loungers on that balcony...score for us!
