I can't believe this day has come so fast. Our class has been looking forward to this all semester, pining over the fall Romers pictures, wishing we could just be there already, using them for distraction from studying, etc. Now it's their turn to do the same in Irving while we live it up in Rome and all over Europe! This past week was a whirlwind of seeing ...

We drove back home and Donovan and Kinsey built Legos while I did some coloring. Then we had a really nice Christmas dinner, we had a brisket with cranberry sauce. Then we had a really super nice chocolate log roll for desert and went to ...

    Jim & June's Odyssey - Denver, CO

A travel blog entry by jimcabay on Nov 03, 2013

    ... was yuk!
The state capitol is equally unimpressive - it's a round, plain building
with overgrown, unpruned trees and weeds throughout the legislative
    grounds. Throughout the city, drugs
abuse is rampant - dealers control the streets.
We walked thru several groups of kids (all concealed by black hoodies)
smoking, snorting and shooting up in a park adjoining City Hall. Suppliers cruise the area in old cars and we
    could see exhanges ...
