Wow! This peninsula is not far from Christchurch, the first thing we noticed driving on the roads here was how quiet it all was and the lush green fields and sheep everywhere! It really was a world apart from Australia. Also, it was very relaxing knowing that there wasn't going to be a speeding kangaroo waiting to cross in front of you at any minute!
