Flan****ns bar sponsors the event with cordoned off streets and 2 larges stages with Irish entertainers, pipe bands, and dancers. ... the waterfront/shops. Denise brought fudge. This towns claim to fame is sponges. It is known as the sponge capital of the world and apparently provides 70% of the sponges sold around the world. We did a short boat tour and got the history of sponge diving and experienced how they are harvested.

... they are definitely a little bit bigger and the tail is shaped differently. We had hoped to go swimming with the manatees while we were in Florida but unfortunately we won’t have time and will have to save that for another trip.
