        ... holding the world record for broken bones, more than 430, his fans lost faith in his fearlessness and he never again held the position he did during his peak. Then with a baseball bat he broke a guys arms who wrote unfavorably about him in a book, (not untruthfully, just unfavorably!) Mattel dropped his toys line, he lost his steady licensing income, and he slid down to the gutter.

        Our booty from the stores was pretty big: Dee Henderson, Irene Hannon and Terri Blackstock for her; Ken Follett, PKD, Krishnamurti and Alex Garland for me.         ... to get into Washington State and then onto Vancouver. They are imposing sights that's for sure.

        We hit the road at 8am (our earliest start yet), after breaking camp and loading up the Sequoia. It really helped that we pre-packed a lot last night, so we only had to deal with the tents and sleeping bags. First up on the agenda was to drive to West Yellowstone for breakfast.
