    ... on quite a merry chase several times this afternoon. First of all, Missoula is a VERY hard town to find your way around in...or at least it was for us and Chickie. John wanted to get Muf's oil changed and the route Miss Chickie decided on was a big loop that took us back basically to within a block from where we started!     Upon returning to Missoula, we got together with Bryant and Priya at our house for leftovers. Gave Priya a tour of our humble abode.

    ... pictures. The road started going through pine forests and the curves and elevation changes were invigorating.

    Having said that, Missoula is only 240 miles from Big Sky so I definitely took the scenic route (or call it on of my dads infamous shortcuts!) for the past 2 days

    Tomorrow I will take the scenic route to Coeur D'Alene.

    ... were frequently in the field/meadow by our campsite. I think they were just coming to say goodbye to me.
    We left around 8 AM from Canyon. We headed west to Norris then north to Mammoth and through the north gate and up route 89 to route 90 and Montana. We saw a couple herd of elk and more bison in the road. Arrived Missoula, MT KOA around 2:30 ...

    ... different colors of dirt along the way (of hwy 97), even in just a 10 or so mile stretch. Brown, gray, red, yellow, and a yellow green were all seen. 2) I wonder if Oregon wishes that they put their money into solar rather than wind power. I was amazed to see 50-100 turbines along a stretch that were sitting on the hills not moving at all, while the sun beat down on them. 3) I kind of wish that we left a little more time for the drive up. ...
