Today in Toowoomba we got up from our long night of flying. We lost 16 hours of sleep from the time difference. We got up and got some breakfast. We decided to go out and go sight seeing, so we booked a tour. The tour started at 11:00 so we had some time to kill. We wound up finding ourselves at the zoo. Coming home
It is said that Toowoomba is the garden city and after our visit today we can certainly see why. We started the day at the Japanese garden attached to the Southern Cross University. It was so tranquil walking through the bamboo, over bridges and water features, past sand gardens and through hedged fences.
