... it was still a little gloomy. We munched on muffins and fruit and had bad hotel coffee while we waited for the rain to stop. The weather was calling for rain on/off all day but I never trust the weather predictions in Florida as it doesn’t mean much. I tried to reassure my mum and dad and while Chris was getting some work done in the room, the three of us took advantage of a break in the clouds and went for a walk. We stopped at a nearby pharmacy to buy some odds and ...

We all got our gear and put on the full suit before we went out to the various activities they had set up for us. The gear wasn't quite as heavy as I had ...

... bobcat, skunk and ferret fox. We decided to head out to Sawgrass Mills Mall and outlet shopping. Apparently the largest outlet Mall in the USA - 365 shops!!! It was good that we were inside as there was the mother of all storms (we only found out about when we heard it on the roof!!) Did some looking around - had some lunch. The place was packed (Labour Day week-end) but what surprised us was the large number of South American ...

... there at the shuttle stop. The driver called me to find out where we were standing…he stopped right on the side of us. The group standing started towards him; he got out of the van and called my name! I guess the others had not called like they (I think) were instructed to do. He picked up a couple more passengers and departed for the hotel. He informed those left that he would return for them after dropping us off. Lessons learned I guess.
