We did two days in LA - did a hop on / hop off bus tour yesterday - through Hollywood, Santa Monica - been there - done that before but was a good sightseeing day. Had lunch on the pier at Santa Monica - Forrest Gumps. Very foggy on the beach side - but a good ling day had.

Pismo Beach - a very cool quaint town just off the Pacific Coast Highway! We stumbled on this place as we needed to stop for food! We had some food and headed down to the pier to see if we could find some ice cream, boy did we find ice cream. Ultimate ice cream was found! So you grab a tub, fill it with any frozen yogurt that you can think of - I had pistachio, vanilla and chocolate frozen yogurt, Oreo and nuts toping with chocolate ...
We leave SB and drive on to our final destination at Pismo Beach, which we reach after dark. We are starved and go down to the wharf area to find food at a restaurants called Chelsea's. We have entertainment.... a group of young teenage boys are riding bikes down the steep road to the wharf area on one wheel, doing wheelies and showing off.
We head back to the hotel to go to bed early so we can drive up the coast on the famous Big Sur tomorrow.
