This year we went to Navy Pier instead of staying on Michigan Avenue. We saw the movie "A Christmas Carol" featuring Jim Carey on the IMAX in 3D. We also rode the McDonald's Ferris Wheel. We walked back to Michigan Avenue later in the day to shop at a few selected stores. The weather was about 72 degrees and sunny. The moment we got on the bus to come home there was a short rain shower. This was an absolutly perfect day in Chicago.

We are at Adler Planetarium having lunch. We have been here since 11am. The planetarium is not too big, you probably can finish everything in half a day. The only thing is the show. City Pass gives you 2 shows. We just watched Night Sky Live! We will be watching Cosmic Collisions at 1:45PM. After that we will go to Shedd Aquarium.

After a flying with Virgin Atlantic from heathrow we had to connect here a Ohare to get to Omaha.

Wow the first experience of a delayed connecting flight due to weather conditions and AAirlines not flying we set here for hours waiting for the connection flight.

... Sophie's Dad's friend was kind enough to take us on a whistle stop tour which was really great, crossing the golden gate bridge was a bit of a highlight.
