    Today we finished climbing at our 9 mph pace for 20 miles we finally got to the top and saw the continental divide.     Rain! It rained most of the day today we gave up and decided to bike through it. We had 19 miles to our campground in Rockwood when it started down pouring, the trail sunk and we went from going 11 miles to a high of 9 miles an hour. We finally got to the campground and everything was wet we decided to go to town to check out the hostal and get pizza. The hostal was empty so we are staying here tonight.     ... said something in his ear and then started running back to his seat with a smile on his face. After John Moss, our ringmaster, was apprised of the situation, he announced to the audience that the little boy told the Shriner he already had a bike of his own and he wanted them to pick another ticket so someone else could have it instead. The entire audience erupted into cheers and I wasn't the only one in the tent wiping away some tears (I'm tearing up just writing about it!).

    I was freezing today. It was about 45 degrees out all day and cloudy. It was like the first day all over again minus the rain. The hills were never ending and no matter what clothes I put on I would still get cold when I went down hill. Abut 40 miles into my day I rode through a town called Mt. Storm and a young 6 year old boy rode the length of town with me on his motorcycle. It reminded me of when I was his age riding my motorcycle. I rode into Maryland about half way though the ...
