Sooo, here's to another long trans-continental flight. We leave Chicago on Monday, July 21st at 10:15pm and arrive in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania on Wednesday, July 23rd at 1:10am (thank you international date line). It's almost all in-the-air time, as we only have a one hour lay-over in Istanbul, Turkey. Can you say "run through the airport!" ... Chicago because a huge rain storm drenched the plane and runway. When that huge plane started to rock a little I knew we were still in the "windy city."

Our flight to London was about 7 hours and I think I may have slept a whole 3 hours. If I was lucky. By the time we got to our Hotel it was 11 am with the time change. There was no turning back, we had to stay up.

... rooms with balcony's available and just lowered the price for last minute deals. A quick call to travel agent Dave and we have now been upgraded to an awesome suite room with twice the square footage plus a balcony for only $140 extra. Dave said this was one of those deals of the century.
