... with chocolate, liquor, perfume and absolutely nothing I want. On the other side of that shop was an area that opened up to a little group of restaurants and a few uninteresting stores. With a late departure time we head straight to our couchettes and just like that half of the fourteen hour trip disappears.

... so I shouldn't admit it, but we went to McDonald's for lunch. We didn't have one of those in Shangqiu! I almost never have McDonald's when in Canada, but hamburger options in China are limited so it's a lot more appealing.
