... br> Last night we celebrated Hunter's (our 1 yr old Grandson) first Halloween. He made a cute Sully and although he didn't quite understand what was happening, he very much enjoyed his first DumDum sucker.

Today, we got the vaccinations we need for the trip to Thailand in January and tomorrow we have our final Family lunch until we get back into town in mid-December. We are going to miss these weekly get togethers.

... boardwalk. We were right. There is a marina right at the Kemah boardwalk and two boats were on fire. The fire department were on site putting the fire out by the time we got there. There was a TV helicopter hovering overhead when we were walking on the boardwalk. Back to the Kemah boardwalk shops we found out when we got there the shops don't open up until night time when the boardwalk comes alive. So ...

Arrived from the very early bus in Dallas to be greeted by Jai & her cousin Kes & whisked off for a tour around Dallas. We found a coffee shop in a district a bit like shore ditch, where I had a very yumi slice of carrot cake nom nom! We proceeded to drive uptown to see the place where JFK got shot, I always thought this was a flat road - turns out it was actually on a hill.... I went up to the Lido to have some coffee and wait for time to leave. HAL does let you wait in your stateroom on the morning of departure, but I always like to get out of the way of the stewards who have little time to turn things around for the next passengers, I saw RIo in the hall, and he thanked me for the tip I'd left the night before, and I thanked him again for taking care of me. I think people underestimate what a treat it is ...
