    Arrived from the very early bus in Dallas to be greeted by Jai & her cousin Kes & whisked off for a tour around Dallas. We found a coffee shop in a district a bit like shore ditch, where I had a very yumi slice of carrot cake nom nom! We proceeded to drive uptown to see the place where JFK got shot, I always thought this was a flat road - turns out it was actually on a hill....     I went up to the Lido to have some coffee and wait for time to leave. HAL does let you wait in your stateroom on the morning of departure, but I always like to get out of the way of the stewards who have little time to turn things around for the next passengers, I saw RIo in the hall, and he thanked me for the tip I'd left the night before, and I thanked him again for taking care of me. I think people underestimate what a treat it is ...
