    We were so glad to get our our huge suitcase & golf clubs checked in at Orlando (No they did NOT open & check the number of clubs and balls as they warned) Mike was very proud that he stuffed his hats & jackets in his golf case while I took them at their word and cramed a dozen balls in my carryon. We did check our 2 carryon's at the gate for free and we volunteered to sit in the Exit seat which offers extra leg room; ...

    ... at Carmel Junction). It only took us about 2 hrs to get into the national park. However, we had to wait a little to pass the Zion- Mount Carmel tunnel. If you're claustrophobic you should avoid this one lane - no lights tunnel (well, it does have two lanes, but they're more like bicycle-wide). There were black clouds all around us and we seemed to be skirting around the storms.
