We spent the previous night in Willcox, AZ. I did not know it before but found out this was the birthplace of Rex Allen, the western guy. We had some comic books of his when I was a kid and I always wondered if I could be related. (For those who do not know, my maiden name is Allen.) So I had my picture taken in front of the statue they have erected in Willcox.

We did go into the Rex Allen Museum and Cowboy Hall of Fame. This was his home town and he is famous for singing cowboy records, movies and TV shows. He had a 35 year career recording for Decca Records. Some of his hit records were Crying in the Chapel, Streets of Laredo and Tiny Bubbles.
