It has a laundry at the reception. Pretty cool. Pack light and send to the laundry daily.

... we decided to make the 5-10 minute walk down to the beach. The walk ended up taking a little while longer as we had to keep zig zagging across the road to avoid the monkeys and a 1.5m long monitor lizard that seemed to be trying to hunt us! ... treated ourselves to some aircon for the night expecting that we would move on the next day and I thought that was it for Langkawi this time, we would move on after that. But no. Langkawi ended up keeping us for longer after we were offered Dorothy and Jeromes house to stay in and the use of her car as they were off to Phuket for a few days holiday. ... wooden hut on stilts with an outdoor shower (well, no rood anyway). On the veranda there was strung a hammock which one could swing about in and soak in the views of the azure bay below.

Ive come by boat from Koh Lipe to Malaysia heading for Langawi.The backpacker area has a number of cheap guesthoses and I find Shirrins.Its run by a dimunitive Japanese woman Hiroko and her husband an Iranian Ibrahim.They have cottages in the back of the property-40 ringitt-no a/c and cold water.Now the pair seem fine the first day but then I notice they are fighting like cat and dog mostly Ibrahim screaming at his wife and he is ...
