It has a laundry at the reception. Pretty cool. Pack light and send to the laundry daily.

Recollecting memories of what happened. Lets see..

Second trip with my best friend after Penang. We figured that we had so much fun in Penang so we have to make another trip for just the 2 of us.

... either. Needless to say (and hate to admit it) we had to complain. I think they were a bit surprised but after a couple of hours they moved us to a better chalet. After lunch we decided to walk back to the bus along the beach but we had to rush down to the sea and paddle along as the sand was so hot. Beautiful place - and we were on the main island, there are lots of quieter ones to stay on. You can see why it is a popular honeymoon ...

... because it was meant to be quieter than the other two (Samui and Phangan). Initially we were a bit disappointed, as it seemed under a frenzy of development. In just twenty years it has gone from a barren island to somewhere where every road is lined with cafes, laundry shops and more famously; dive schools. There are 60 dive schools on an island 15sq km in size (or something like that).

The net effect of this is that diving courses come very cheap in Koh Tao. ...
