... After a day in the wind and seeing the sun set from a Ferris wheel our dinner selection was based on so,we here warm which turned out to be a quaint family Italian restaurant. All that left us to do was return to the hotel pick up or luggage, say our good-byes to Nick and head to the airport. ... tempura vegies! Winning! We had to do a bolt to wait for our Starline tour. We were catching a trolley to do a quick tour of Santa Monica & then checking out the Getty Villa. On the way back to our car Larry surprised us by taking us on a rollercoaster ride up and down some of LA's incredibly steep streets - the girls loved it! Larry did a fantastic job and we learnt a lot about the city and got to see parts of it that we would never had got to had we done it on our own. It was money well spent. LA has surprised and inpressed me. I had expected a big fairly ugly city with some ...

... I'll be dead healthy and make smoothies but no doubt that won't happen! We got home and Caroline tried the shower and got the hot water working (turned out I hadn't turned the handle far enough!) We had leftover tea from the night before on the balcony before heading out to HOLLYWOOD! The primary aim of this trip was to get a US sim, however the nearest store was a fair walk away from the metro station so we again waked in the boiling heat which took us 40mins. I successful got a ...
