We left the monkey and all the joys of Morgan Co. KOA and headed to Frankenmuth, MI early Saturday. It was not a long drive so that was nice. It was 64 degrees and misty rain but it didn't slow us down. We passed a sign for the Gerald Ford Library in Ann Arbor with no time to stop.

... I could tell you the experience was great but almost as quickly as we were in the air I was asleep. What I can tell you is Delta has wonderful cereal for breakfast in business class.

So thank you Delta for getting us safely to Iceland on time and on the day we thought we would be arriving. Tonight I am exhausted so I'll start the real blog tomorrow when we get our car and begin the Ring Road!

Final Days/Reflections on Rio

... for a quick rest and lunch before taking a bus over to the nearby favela of Vidigal for a boxing lesson! Our lesson was at an extremely basic-looking place - the place was dirty and unfinished, with nothing but a concrete floor and a few punching bags.
