... most of the park when we woke up in the morning!

This morning, we both slept in and had a great breakfast at one of the restaurants on property. We then went back into the room, changed into our bathing suits, and ended up hitting the rest of the resort areas all in one day! We started at the Lost World Outdoor Waterpark, which featured the steepest slides on the property. They also had a lazy river and a small slide that you could go down on a tube, so we decided ...

We started our day enjoying the free wifi with the kids in our Baraboo hotel while Mom & Dad got ready. The kids are really loving the free wifi on this trip!

As we left, we put the Wisconsin state sticker on the van since we will be leaving Wisconsin and heading West. Not sure if we'll make it as far as South Dakota tonight but that is our goal.

My new buddy and I wanted to drive but Mom wouldn't let us.

... ticket booth a block away. It took us a while to figure out the layout of the park but once we did we were impressed with the plethera of water rides available to us! The entire human family enjoyed the water rides while my new buddy and I swapped stories in the van. Neither one of us are really very fond of water or of risking our lives on crazy rides.

    June 25th – Day 52

Travel day today. We didn't get away
until almost 11am after a sleep in. It was hot last night so tossing
and turning meant we didn't wake up until after 8am. Eggs for
breakfast and groceries and then we headed Southeast, towards
    Chicago.

    We stopped near Baraboo, Wisconsin
at Fox Hill RV Park and Campground. This is a great one with a ...

From Minneapolis I headed south looking for the best way to
    follow the Mississippi River. I
crossed the river at the town of Prescott WI and then followed the Wisconsin
Great River Road along the river for about 120 miles. It was a great backroad tour through small
towns, the river valley, and by the locks and dams that mark this stretch of
    the river. The river/reservoirs are
    wide now compared ...
