Second last sea day and our last formal night. We attended lectures this morning then sat on deck for the rest of the afternoon until the next lecture at 3pm. Supper in the Rotterdam was very nice the was surf & turf on the menu among other things. We went to the showroom which was a variety show of the last three performers. At 10:00pm there was a black & gold ...

... and lots of seals. They were so cool! I face-timed with Avery while at the beach so she could see the ocean - if it's possible, I think she likes the beach and ocean as much as I do! Then it was Coldstone Creamery for dinner! YIKES!!
Tomorrow we will have lunch with a cousin of Dave's and then we are off to the desert and Yuma. No more ocean!?!?! ...

We left Phoenix early on the 7th as we had 5 hours driving to San Diego. We saw many different landscapes as we drove across Nevada to reach California. There was lots of deserts with huge cacti. Mountains and mountains and more mountains made of stones. Miles and miles of market gardens. Even though there was plenty to see, it was still a very long drive. We arrived in ...
