      ... was open with the Lido Deck pool, hot tub, and another bar, of course. A barbeque was held here one night.

      Decks 4 through 8 were cabins. Decks 2 and 3 held formal restaurants (Vista and upscale Pinnacle), a two-level theatre, the Casino and Disco, various lounges and shops. I will provide more general information on the ship later in the blog, probably after the Costa Rica section when we spend two days at sea.

      ... me up some wipes! I ordered up over 60 bucks of wipes! I order cases full of wipes! I filled duffle bags full of wipes! If you have a smear or a smudge or a smell....I've got a wipe for that! I spend a large part of the day wiping various things with various wipes.       We have already lost two hours, and it's only day two. Got up at 6:30 which is really 4:30 for breakfast. Nothing else was really that important at that hour, so we went back to bed afterward. After 50 miserable attempts at sending ecards I gave up, because it would be easier to throw a bottle overboard with notes in it.       This morning i slept in so long, because i was so tired from the other night. I checked out around 12 and starting doing preperations for my 1st bike tour.       ... is very unusual. They were U. S. Coast Guard boats with manned machine guns on the deck. We couldn't believe it!

      It was only after dinner that we heard of the bombing that day at the Boston Marathon. I guess they were taking no chances with any of the cruise ships. There was a reason they remained alongside until we left. Thank you, Coast Guard security.
