      Day 9, Fort Lauderdale

... in my first week, I ordered the steak and eggs and Sharon the Eggs & Grits. It didn't disappoint. All the locals seemed to be stopping off there and the place was extremely busy. A very worthy visit, would definitely go again. A short wander round the shops after that and then a taxi back to the ship. We were mindful of the departure time as last time we nearly missed the ship. The taxi in to town took 10 mins, the taxi back took ...

... We're finally ready to go to Kansas City...oh, wait, not quite. Because of all the travel delays around the region, the flight crew has maxed out their flight time. We wait about 15 minutes until a replacement crew can be put together.

Tomorrow afternoon we will fly to Albuquerque and then on to Denver. With no other issues, we should be in Denver around 7:00 Sunday night.

      It's been a long day!

... they didn't even bother checking how many bottles of wine I had. On their website, they say, you can only bring 2 bottles of wine and any extra will be stored by the ship and returned at the end of the week. I brought 4 bottles so I could drink 2 in the first and 2 in the second. However, they didn't check so I had 4 bottles to drink in the 1st week and could even reload at the next port which I intend to do. I wonder if they ever really check and maybe ...
