... history to visit Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum in search of the burial site of one of Patty's ancestors. We had a section and lot number. We did not have a map. That proved to be a problem. We drove around and around and around without ever seeing any section markers. We found Orville and Wilbur's graves, but not the one we were looking for. Maybe we should have done a little more research :0). We may try again tomorrow.

Other buildings exhibit facets of Dayton history, including the great flood of 1913. In the entrance building, there is an NCR cash register room with 90 such Dayton-made machines on show, many of them quite ornate and brightly polished. A very fascinating afternoon.
