That was the era when CB radios were becoming popular on the road. I got one and had "Twin Trucker" antennas
installed on either side of the vehicle behind the cab. They protruded about 2’ above the top but
made for great radio reception. Since
the vehicle was new to me, I put a sign on the dash as a reminder of the height

... VA. A poor dinner at Denny's... I should know better by now. A little food shopping and then back to the camper and turned the heat on.
Watched the movie, "I Am Gabriel", last night. It has a great message of hope and faith! How God can bring revival to a depressed and hopeless town using a young boy... or is he?

We decided to drive a little more until we got sick of driving (well until Armando got sick of driving), so a little after 4:00 we stopped in Wytheville, VA for the night. It's tucked in the mountains too, and here's a picture of our view of the pretty mountains, but the buildings and the billboards kinda mess up the view. Susie's and Bob's view was way better!!
