    Interesting sight to see

So driving through Minnesota today we saw a helicopter with a guy hanging from a line similar to the military and then he slowed at the power line pole. The power poles are approximately 100 feet tall metal, and apparently the local power company uses a helicopter to get guys from pole to pole to work on them. The helicopter yo weed at the power pole to let the guy transfer to the arm with the wires. Who knew ...

... The tour boats were crazy. They definitely strove to provide an element of thrill for their passengers. They did a high-speed donut in the river in front of us. It made for some nice waves to make the kids feel like they were at the ocean for a spell.

We headed West from here and stopped for lunch at the Log Cabin Deli and Cheese Shop. It was a beautiful store with awesome subs made from local meats and cheeses. Mom got ...

... the carousel was hers, Claire and Oriah loved the roller coasters, seems like I am raising two adrenaline enthusiasts! We also visited the American Girl Doll store which the girls adored! He other highlight was the Lego store, it was really awesome seeing the huge Lego sculptures throughout the store and building up above it three stories! Insane! Phoebe was wiped out ...

... took Izzie over to the pool for a swim. Mom and Dad bought her a little inflatable so she enjoyed sitting in the water and splashing about. When we got back, Dave made an excellent dinner. Dave is quite a good cook. By the time dinner was over, Izzie was ready for bed so the kids headed back to the condo. About this time, the hockey game started. I love it when the stars align and the Black Hawks win.

    The Perfect Night with Izzie

... it worked. Izzie went back to sleep and woke up at 7:30. She was a perfect angel during the night. She woke up with a smile on her face. Izzie had a great breakfast of formula, raspberries, and bananas. After breakfast we took Izzie for a walk around the condo. We stopped at the swing for a couple of minutes.

We met up with Lisa and Dave at about 10:00am. Again, it was a perfect night with Izzie.

    Happy Trails,
