We treated Ahmad to dinner and had a nice meal. We were getting along well and our energies were vibing. After a long day we had no plans of going out, so we hung out with Ahmad for a couple hours at his place. He told us about his hometown in Lebanon and took us on a computerized tour of it along with Dubai. Ahmad ...

... we'll just call it one very long field trip -- we are doing some educational things. Visiting Civil War battlefields and South of the Border on I-95 surely count as learning experiences. But I'm adding Publix to the itinerary, just in case.

And when push comes to shove, it wouldn't be a Janey trip without a pre-travel panic. Even when there's nothing to panic about. At least I'm consistent. Now where did I put that GPS...
