    ... the Mexican street food. Tacos, tortillas, churros, funnel cake and other dishes we had either never heard of or couldn't pronounce were for sale from street carts throughout the market. English appeared to be a minority language as we walked among the stalls. Touting for our business fell largely on confused ears. Was that American English with a heavy Mexican accent, or just someone talking to us in Spanish? ...

    ... and James was that most of the waiters wore Italian football (club) shirts. We had a fascinating evening, spotting shirts (genuine and rip off), teams, and players - and the food was very good too. Rounded off by the worlds most surreal loos, where the attendant (one each for men and woman) pumps soap into your hands and passes you a towel to dry them - weird, especially for Lucy ...

    ... need to turn the heater on at home. In general, the answer was along the lines of "put on a jumper". Rambo was happy to see us when we returned, and she and I played a chasing game for a while. She seems to have settled well into the new apartment and enjoys the extra space; particularly as it allows her to chase her tail with less likelihood of bumping her head.
