We started out the day visiting the campus of The University of Notre Dame. There was a lot of snow all around, and only Susan knew what it's like to walk in the snow to school. With me growing up in Louisiana, snow days were very few. The campus was large as we stopped at the football stadium. I must confess, the campus bookstore was impressive ...
Cleveland, Ohio, United States qpoal0198... Put up the tree. Watch movies. It's going to be a good month back. Looking forward to it.
The past week I've been in Panama visiting the family that hosted me two summers ago. They changed my life. It was amazing seeing them again. Definitely the highlight of my past few months, out of everything I've done. Nothing can top the relationship I have with them. I got to go to a "Panamanian Fair ...
I just got the bike out of the shop! I've added heated HANDLEBAR inserts (not heated grips), which work great! I also added a cruise-mate lever, so I don't have to mess with that stupid wheel thingey which is standard on the bike.
I also bought Gerbing heated jacket liner and glove liners.
AND, added a mud flap to the ...
... Discrimination issue all along the upstate part. And I would have loved to take a picture of this billboard but my mind was so baffled by it all I couldnt reach for the right electronic. It read in large letters: STOP THE HOUSING DISCRIMINATION in the STATE OF NEW YORK..then in the blank space of the FOR RENT sign read: UNLESS YOU ARE HISPANIC.... no one knows..not even my Hispanic friends reading this.
We very much enjoyed Niagara ...
We returned to Betsy's parents house from our time in Mexico. After throwing a few more things away - we took off in our car on a road trip to Cindy Snow's wedding in Arkansas. We visited our friends Bill and Chuck in Cincinnati, then we followed the Ohio river to the Mississipi. We stopped at some small towns along the way like Metropolis (the home of superman).
Berea, Ohio, United States betsypetersnowWe left Florida and drove to Berea via Winston Salem so we could visit Jed and Cecilie (Peter's nephew). When we arrived in Berea we spent the month of March getting Betsy's parents house ready to put on the market. The house market in Cleveland is horrible so we thought we better try to sell the house as soon as possible so they would be ready to move into their new retirement apartment in Chagrin Falls when is was completed in the fall.

... immediately followed by a Sunday church meeting at the hotel. The meeting consisted of partaking of the sacrament (communion), special music (a hymn arrangement presented by the viola section of the Orchestra) and inspirational talks, in this case by Elder W. Craig Zwick of the Church’s First Quorum of Seventy and his wife, Janet. The viola number is worth a special mention since it’s not often that one hears an ensemble comprised entirely of violas (with piano ...
Cleveland, Ohio, United States motabchoir01... the Falls is a hotel complex, complete with gift shops and, apparently, a casino. Nice to see the Americans haven't tried to cheapen one of the most spectacular natural sights in the world. We decided to get a taxi back to the Greyhound Station, allowing us to spend a little more time at the Falls. We didn't have to wait long before the bus to Buffalo turned up, where we had to go to get the Cleveland bus. On the bus, Jay attracted yet another weirdo as he was forced to sit next ...
