On my way to St Johns, I stopped and had lunch at Chick-Fil-A, which is my favorite place to eat and it cost me $5.95. As I was almost to my hotel I stopped for gas at Speedys for $40.48 and then went to check in at Days Inn. I was not very hungry so I had a Clif Bar that I brought from home and then went to sleep.
... unique. We had wound our way up a peak we could see the road wind back down to a narrow valley. Down in the valley there was a stream & a bridge for the highway to cross. Then it wound back up another peak on the other side of the valley.
Casa Malpais RV Park is OK for an overnight trip. There were several very old rigs that people are obviously living in full time. That always makes an RV park seem a little iffy. ...

Dinner was delicious. Charles and I had the signature dish of Elk whilst Abigail and Oliver had the safer chicken option. No large portions here just top quality cordon blue food.
A relatively early night of 10pm, although Charles didn't make it that far but as he has done all the driving so far we let him off.
We need a good nights sleep so we have enough energy for all the activities booked tomorrow.
