Up again around 6am and on the road heading to Yosemite National Park. Funny how when we went to sleep there were no other campers, but when we left there were at least another 3 or 4! The drive to the park took us around 2 hours and was up and down in altitude and along a winding road until we arrived at Yosemite Village.

... im Best Western gemütlich. Wer hätte das gedacht?! ;)

Alles in allem ein eindrucksreicher (gibt es dieses Wort?) Tag, der erst einmal verarbeitet werden muss, um alles in seiner Größe zu erfassen...

Wir sind gespannt auf morgen, wenn es weitergeht zum Lake Tahoe und dann Mono Lake. Das wird eine recht große Etappe mit viel Strecke zurückzulegen.

Door" som tyvärr inte hade svängdörrar som i filmerna, men när bartendern frågade vad jag vill ha och jag morrade "Whiskey", tog han vant fram sin sämsta, av smaken att döma med vatten utblandade whisky ur en flaska under disken. Han erbjöd mej nog bättre whisky från hyllan vid spegeln, men jag nöjde mej med "standardgiftet". Helena fick en betydligt godare G&T. Inredningen var original från 1852 och som raritet var tusentals endollarsedlar ...
