Met Jim and Sue at meeting place shortly after 9:00am this morning. We're doing the first leg of our journey with them! Nice to have some travel buddies :) We left London at 9:30 am. Good weather - Clear and sunny all the way. Stopped in Toledo Ohio to purchase a hot spot. After much running around, bought one, got it set up and now we have wifi while on the road �� Stayed in Wapakaneta KOA. Arrived around ...

... time last year. In one short year (I can't believe how quickly it came and went) we are doing this together. Him and I, a Honda s2000, National Parks, horseback riding, biggest things to "oooh" and "aaaah" at, all in the comfort of the United States of America. ... we could walk onto any ride with no wait. In some parts of the day it rained so we had to wait for a while which really bad because the rides were shutdown. My first ride that I went on was called The Beast. This is the longest fastest wooden roller coaster in the world. ... from the Appalachian Mountains to flattening out of corn and bean fields. All of the kids have traveled well. Swapping cars and parents along the way seems to keep everyone happy and alive ... added bonus!

We check in to a local hotel in Piqua Ohio and eyebrows are raised when we get to our rooms to find sets of orange ear plugs are left for each guest. Surely this can not be a good sign. Finally after 3 weeks of traveling we get to catch up with ...

... Haha. We handed out fliers anyway and then made our way over to the elementary school.

We ended up on the playground for three sessions of recess with the younger kids. So. Much. Fun. John was the Pied Piper to these kids....everyone smiled and laughed and immediately gathered around him. He played hopscotch, basketball, freeze tag, and hide and go seek with them.
