... in a deep doze. I made blueberry muffins in the convection oven for our breakfast and we both spent some time on the computer. Wendell worked on email, while I had tasks to work on for both Blue Star Mothers and Republican Women (two of my favorite groups). And then there is always LAUNDRY. We didn’t have a lot, but after 10 days on the road, it was time, and the laundry room is only 4 sites from ours so it was convenient.

... of the place and ended, yes you guessed it, with a joining of hands for a few verses of 'We shall overcome'. Now I must admit, the whole spiritualness of the morning really did leave a mark. If I had known this could have happened, I wouldn't have gone, I was so glad I did though! We later walked down to the Alabama River, past the famous place where Rosa Parkes caught the bus. ... I called her, I told her the romance was off, she had obviously got it all wrong, I felt so let down! We stopped and re-entered the address, she told us the same. We realised we were in fact 50 miles from our destination, typical woman, she just can't tell the time! Onward we drove, me muttering about the all too shallow relationship we had. OK, she got us to the Staybridge Suites, our destination, but she would have to improve to rekindle this ...
