... Bread if we come back for a visit. Wewoka has a Sorghum Festival the 4th Saturday each October that draws visitors from across the US. Betsy gave us a gift of sorghum and Alfalfa Blossom Honey. We may have to travel back to Wewoka for some great fry bread and friendship. Betsy is an awesome Seminole friend....

Riverton in Kansas is home to one of the oldest General Stores still open on the route. Nelson who owned it asked where we were from and oddly he came back saying he knew Birmingham as he had been to Morton-on-the-marsh. What a place to have visited?
Next town Baxter Springs was another inspiration for the look of Radiator Springs in Cars, we stopped just for photos here.
... On the west edge of Tulsa Route 66 crosses the Arkansas River via the second bridge that has carried the road. Left home about 5:45. Flight from OKC at 9:15. Arrived O'Hare 11:15. The international terminal is a totally different building so we had to go out of security, ride a tram to the international terminal and go back through security so that took awhile.
