So we left Pensacola at 9:00 am to drive to Orlando. You would think we were going away for a year or two with all the house prep and luggage! ... and then when we got over the Florida border they had completely closed I-10 because of ice. The I-10 was a parking lot with everyone exiting. It took us 10 hours to Tallahassee which is normally a 4 hour drive. We were tired but made it OK and were very glad to see the Best Western sign.
We are spending a week in Sanford, Florida to reorganize our RV and getting it serviced. We have not decided what we will do next so stay tuned.

it was a chilly morning, but i hopped on the bike and hoped it would warm up as the day went on. I rode through the southern part of new mexico and as i neared texas the cold began to get unbearable. the temperature was dropping instead of rising as i neared the afternoon, not a good sign.
